Hello,
Today we'll talk about the fifth episode of the summer season 2012 anime series named Tari Tari that finally explain the backstory behind the relationship between Wakana and her mother Michiru.
It was really heartbreaking to watch a younger Wakana repeatedly "attack" her mother in every possible way. I understand she was in the middle of adolescence, but knowing what was going to happen...
She now regret every single moment of those months and she can't move on with her life, because she is still haunted by her mother death.

By the way, we also got a bit of extra story development for both Taichi and Sawa, and this confirms Tari Tari as a "dream chasing" story of five high school students.
Taichi continues to pursue his passion for badminton. He lost the tournament in this episode, but I think that being within the best 8 players is a good result that he can certainly improve in the future.
We also get to know Sawa's real dream, that is being a professional horse rider. I have to say that's an incredibly "strange" dream to pursue for a girl in an anime series...
Sawa and Konatsu dancing with an extremely fluid animation? I have to give kudos to P.A. Works for the great job they've done in animating this small video scene (and the whole series, really).
It's a bit sad that Wakana is still not part of the team, but I have hope that Konatsu will be able to melt through her defences and let her join properly the (dancing?!) club!
I think that being with Konatsu all day is be the best cute for Wakana's sadness/loneliness. Nobody can possibly feel alone with the energetic Konatsu around! :D

Next episode will focus on the conflictual relationship that Wakana has with music. She really want to continue on the path of music, but she can't forgive herself what happened with her mother.
I sort of understand her feelings of regret and pain, but she should move on with her own life and passions because that's what her mother is surely hoping as well.
Not sure how many episodes will be needed, but I'm extremely looking forward to see Wakana singing together with the others in the ED animation of this series.

Concluding, Tari Tari continues to be an extremely enjoyable light hearted slice of life story that I'll be sure to continue covering in this blog in the future.
See you soon,
