Today, after a long wait, we'll start to talk about the first episode of the second season of one of the anime series we covered back in the winter season 2011/2012 named Rinne No Lagrange.
Yes, our three heroines are back together with their mecha and this implies that Earth will become a battlefield again, but who will become the enemy this time around?
Strangely, everything seems reverted in this second season with Villagiulio/Muginami playing the good guys while Lan and her brother playing the evil guys trying to "kidnap" Madoka.
Well, we're still left with plenty of questions since the last season that I hope they'll explain in detail. All of them revolves around the mysterious nature of the mecha used by our heroines named Vox.
What exactly is the purpose of summoning the flowers of Rinne? Why is Lan's brother trying to reproduce what happened on Earth because of Madoka's mental shock?
Somehow I feel that I can't trust someone who doesn't care about protecting his own sister from suffering during the painful experiments.
Just as you can see in this little video, Lan and Muginami ended up in a fierce battle in order to "take Madoka back home".
I wonder what happened between the two girls in this year away from Earth? How they managed to shift away from best friends to mortal enemies?!
My speculation is that Lan's brother want to use Madoka innate power (after Lan's failure) in order to summon the flowers of Rinne once again on Earth.
By the way, am I the only one who thought the ED song to be "amusing"? The rhythm is fine, but the lyrics are somehow hard to "sing along". Especially if you understand what they're saying...
Next episode will feature the clash of Madoka against Muginami and Lan. She'll likely become once again the glue needed in order for the two girl to become friends again...
That will be the focus of the first part of the season, because without all three heroines together, the story simply can't start. This story is, after all, a story of friendship! :)
Concluding, Rinne no Lagrange is back and I hope everyone is ready to get their share of battles and cute moments together with our heroines!
