Today we'll talk about the upcoming summer season 2012 anime series named "Dakara Boku wa H ga dekinai" that seems to configure itself as a pure fanservice anime series like Highschool DxD.
The story revolves around an high school boy named Kaga Ryousuke who end up making a contract with a Shinigami named Lisara Restole in order to help her find the "Singular Man".
After making the contract she sucks up all the energy she needs to perform her search. What energy you say? Of course its the perverted energy of our protagonist leaving him with totally zero sexual desire.
This story follows the same premise we got in Highschool DxD and many other similar series. A very powerful girl end up making a contract with a very perverted high school boy.
Suddenly after this contract is signed, hundreds of beautiful girls will magically start appearing at the boy's side creating the typical harem situation we all like/loathe (depending on tastes).
What I really wonder is if he willingly signed such an unfair contract knowing all the clauses and consequences...
Well, its pretty clear after watching this video that this series will be all focused around beautiful girls and how their clothes magically disappear during the episodes.
I have to agree that some of them are quite cute, my favourites at the moment are the main heroine Lisara Restole and Iria Fukumune.
Oh, and there are battles against demons too in this series, but do anyone cares about them anyway? I don't think anyone watching this for the battles! :P
I'm extremely looking forward to the animation quality of this series, because the studio working on this production is "feel", the same studio that created Mayo Chiki (great series) / Yosuga no Sora ("meh" series).
While their anime aren't exactly what I could consider plot-heavy, they sure know how to properly animate and direct fanservice focused shows.
We also have many big name in the seiyuu cast like Kaori Ishihara (Kanna Tanigawa from Ano Natsu de Matteru) in Mina Ookura's role, Aya Endou (Miyuki Takara from Lucky Star and Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier) in Lisara Restole's role.
While I'm not planning to blog extensively about this anime series, I'm going to watch and maybe write one-two posts just to talk about some important development.
