Hello,
Today we'll talk about the 10th episode of the spring season 2012 anime series named Tasogare Otome X Amnesia that finally shed some light over the troubled past of the main heroine.
I thought I was prepared to watch this episode, but truth is you can't really be prepared to watch such unreasonable suffering. Yuuko is not my favourite character, but no one deserve such a fate.
I had to tune in and watch some comedy anime series (I'm re-watching Wagaya no Oinari-sama) soon after to recover from the sadness...

We finally know how and why Yuuko died, she was used as a "sacrifice" by the city to please a random unnamed god afflicting the population with a very dangerous disease.
Of course nothing like that really existed and in truth Yuuko died alone without a real reason. It's really sad to think that such a young life could come to an end for a mere superstition/religion.
I just hope all the guys involved in this crazy ritual died soon after for the same disease they used as a scapegoat to sacrifice Yuuko.
I tried hard to find a normal scene to use in this post, but it was hard with the many depressing scenes they adapted during these 24 minutes.
In the end I decided to use this little scene showing Kirie's grandmother (Yuuko's sister) when she was very young. They were quite resembling and I do think that Kirie would look a lot better with long hair!
They still haven't introduced her, but she's supposedly the director of the school where Yuuko died. Coincidence or a way to be near to her sister?

Next episode will go back to the real world with Yuuko and Niiya facing Shadow Yuuko's hatred for the last time. What will happen?
Will Yuuko accept her other self hatred/memories and pass over next life? Or will she continue to linger around the school eternally?
We're in for an anime original ending, and I'm really curious to see how they'll manage to give closure to the love relationship between Yuuko and Niiya...

Concluding, Tasogare Otome X Amnesia is continuing to be an extremely entertaining anime series that is finally reaching the climax of the story.
I'm looking forward to watch and cover the last couple of episodes as well.
See you soon,
