Hello,
Let's go talk about the seventh episode of the winter season 2011/2012 anime series named Ano Natsu de Matteru that completes the Okinawa arc giving us plenty of new info on the characters and preparing us for the upcoming drama revolving around Ichika's origin.
Yes, as Rinon promptly detected, we have a new spaceship incoming on earth and judging from the reaction of Rinon its someone hostile to Ichika's objectives. (A relative maybe?!)
Not sure about how they will play out the situation, but everything seems to configure itself in the exact same way as the Onegai Teacher series...:P
This episode continues right from the other showing us an Ichika who is slowly melting down to our protagonist's love declaration. She was even jealous of the childhood friend!
I think, however, is still too early for her to get an happy ending, so I'm expecting much trouble will come in the future for their relationship...
On the other side Mio is revealed to be a nudist. It was hilarious to see Tetsurou's reaction and everything seems to imply that she will end up with him at the end of the story.
This was clearly the highlight of the episode for me! Yes, Kanna in a neko-mimi maid uniform while completely drunk! There is probably nothing else who can beat this combination of pure cuteness!
I have to thank Remon's actions for such a cute sight, she really is the energy core of this anime series! Without her the story would have probably never started.
I wonder if Remon and Kanna will be a pair by the end of the series. They are the only two with no chances to hook up with a man at the end of this story...:P
Next episode will be probably another random comedy/developments episode revolving around the triangle created between Kanna, Ichika and our protagonist in preparation for the arrival of the new alien spaceship.
In this last couple of episodes I was about to forget Ichika's status as alien and its good that the series decided to give more importance to this story element.
I just hope they won't go for the same ending as in Onegai Teacher. I would like to see a TRUE happy ending for everyone once in a while...:P
Concluding, Ano Natsu de Matteru is still slowly switching over from the random comedy to the real plot. I really wonder if the story will be on par with the great combination of fanservice/comedy we got till now...:P
