Hello,
Let's go talk about the sixth episode of the winter season 2011/2012 anime series Rinne no Lagrange who is following a rather unpredictable pattern in this episode disabling all three Vox and letting Madoka activate unwittingly the "Flowers of Rinne" in a fit of rage against Muginami.
Muginami confirm herself as an hateful character in this episode as well, even if they redeem her in the future through some "character development" (The preview seems to indicate something similar) it will be hard for me to start liking her.
I'm also quite curious about who's an enemy and who's a friend in this story. Just as predicted the "closed-eyes guy" turns out to be evil, or at least terribly evil-like with his maniacal laughter after watching the flowers falling from sky.

This episode is entirely focused around Earth military counter-attack against the alien threat and deliver some powerup for both Madoka and Lan getting respectively a power sword and a long range gun.
We're also shown the power of Ignis (Muginami's Vox) that seems to ignite all the enemies around her and the cannon of Villagiulio's Ovid. I was quite shocked about the power of that Ovid's cannon that was able to create an incredible hole in the ocean...
Why Villagiulio didn't just bombard the base and annihilate all of them at once? I'm starting to think his objective is not conquering earth or recovering the Vox, but preventing something from happening "again".
The positive thing of this series, as shown in this little video sketch, is that it doesn't take itself seriously! Rinne no Lagrange is able to add random comedy scene in the middle of the climax like in this case with Lan and Madoka.
Lan seems to be quite weak against the powerful earth drinks, just like the older brother on the spaceship. I was like "WTF!" when he started to talk about the qualities of that drink like it was something exceptional...
I really would like to try that drink as well, just to understand if it was that powerful or incredible...:P

Next episode will strangely mark the return to the normal life of the three girls at school. Why all of a sudden a switch in setting after that dangerous battle lost against the Ovid?
I'm speculating that the next episode will be based on a dream-sequence after Madoka activated the "Flowers of Rinne" and all three girls need to overcome some kind of trial in order to return to the normal world.
I have really a lot of questions on the origin of the Vox and the real meaning of the prophecy and I hope they'll cover it extensively in the following episodes...

Concluding, Rinne no Lagrange is continuining to be a very solid series with story development, action, comedy and even a little bit of fanservice.
I'm expecting much from this two cour series and I'll obviously continue to watch and blog about it in the future as well!
See you soon,
