Hello everyone,
Today we'll cover the 15th, 16th and 17th episodes of the anime series Mirai Nikki that continues with very stable developments every week and is now pretty much near to the final arc with only two diary holder remaining to be defeated.
Yes, I'm not counting Minene, Yukiteru, Yuno in this list as I don't think they will die at all until the very end of this anime series. I'm also expecting some kind of deus ex machina conclusion for the story...especially as the winner will have the powers of a God!
This particular arc dedicated to "Seventh" was extremely pleasing to watch because, for the first time, we fought with reasonable and charming enemies. Yes, not the crazy guys (like the serial killer or the creepy child) that we were used to until the last episode...

In my opinion the focus of these three episodes was not much on Seventh as an enemy, but more on the reconciliation between Yuno and Yukiteru in order to prepare our protagonists to the last couple of enemies that will probably be the most dangerous.
Talking about "Seventh", I was a bit touched by their sad past together, even if their pain cannot be compared to what was Tsubaki's life. Tsubaki is and will remain the most unfortunate girl in this story. :(
I heard that Tsubaki has an happy end in a sidestory manga, I may have to buy it after Mirai Nikki completed its run just for the sake of watching her obtain happiness...*_*
This is probably the scene I liked most of the last episode! Seventh was really a proper man, especially if you compare him to the frail Yukiteru or his coward/pathetic father at the moment.
By the way, I was really shocked when the father escaped with the parachute leaving Yuno and Yukiteru alone to die in that tower. What kind of father would do this to his child? What is exactly that Yukiteru is trying to protect?!
While I can understand Yukiteru's feelings, I would suggest him to cut all ties with his father... Especially after the last developments as shown in the last couple of seconds of the episode.

Yes, it seems that Yukiteru's mother is going to die killed by his father! This twist will probably give to Yukiteru for the first time a reason to fight and become the successor of Deus in order to try and resurrect his mother.
This is based on my assumption that Deus's godly powers allow to resurrect people in the first place. I'm still not sure what are its powers and why a God is dying in the first place...
This links to the title, as I am expecting Yukiteru to change deeply in personality just like what happened to Shu in Guilty Crown last week. If this happen, the last sprint of Mirai Nikki is going to be awesome! :)

Concluding, Mirai Nikki is proving itself to be a very solid series (probably between top 20 and top 30 in my rankings) that I'm going to continue to watch and blog in the future as well.
See soon,
