Hello,
Let's talk a bit about the fourth episode of the anime series Nisemonogatari that continues and concludes the introduction of the main characters with an episode entirely dedicated to Tsubasa Hanekawa and the cute Shinobu Oshino!
I was not expecting this kind of episode entirely (or well, mostly) set in the bath with a long talk between Koyomi and Shinobu about pretty much everything ranging from Karen's disease to the lack of bathing in Shinobu's life.
On the positive side, I was amused by the incredible personality sported by Shinobu in this episode. She is really an amiable fellow and I'm extremely eager to know more about her backstory in the upcoming movie Kizumonogatari.

This episode continues right after the other with Koyomi going back to home in order to help his sisters (Tsukihi and Karen) from the supernatural threat they found themselves involved into together with the help of Hanekawa!
As I predicted the creepy guy from the last episode is the culprit behind the problems at the school and at the same time the culprit of Karen's disease that will be the focus of this first arc named "Karen's bee".
I have to say that it was a bit sad to see Karen in that feverish condition and I hope she will be back in her energetic self mode soon enough. I really can't see energetic girl reduced to that sorry state!
Let's go back to the comical entertainment (always prominent in this series) with this little sketch between Koyomi and Tsukihi with the first about to be killed by the second in a pure yandere rage.
It was amusing to see how Tsukihi reacted to the sight of a loli inside the bath with his brother. I'm still not sure about who she was going to kill with that knife especially as jealousy is not out of question. (the target would be Shinobu in this case)
I also liked how Shinobu was playing around with Koyomi's feelings for her, that's how a loli should behave after all! I wonder if she will have some kind of major role in the story of the two sisters.

By the way, am I only one missing the opening animation/song of Karen they introduced in the second episode? It was a quite nice piece of song (very fitting with her personality) and I'm really eager the listen to the single as soon as it gets released.
At this point we have all the main characters of the current and last series introduced, as well as the supposed enemy (the creepy guy)! We now have to see how Koyomi will be able to cure the little Karen from this supernatural disease.
I really don't have any kind of prediction in this, especially as Bakemonogatari turned out to be completely unpredictable material when I first watched it years ago.

Concluding, Nisemonogatari is proving itself to be a solid series with a marvellous cast and an interesting story. With this said I would have preferred more story developments in each episode.
I continue to watch and blog about this series in the future as well.
See you soon,
