Hello everyone,
Let's go talk again about the fall 2011 action anime series named Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4 that returns with a wonderful comedy 15th episode, one of the best comedy episodes of the last couple of anime seasons.
Yes, while being a filler (no story progression at all) I extremely loved the interactions between the many characters of the cast and the comedy that ensued from it.
It was really a long time since I laughed that hard on an anime episode, probably from the time I first watched Seitokai Yakuindomo! I have to give kudos to the writer of the story!
The episode is entirely focused on the school trip of our heroes in which they give to Naoto a bigger role! Yes, I think that this must be the start of Naoto's personal arc in which her will become part of the team.
I really wonder if her personality will change drastically inside her dungeon... I really can't wait to see the cute side of Naoto...:P
They also added that some kind of crossover with the characters/school from Persona 3. I have to say that it was nostalgic to see again the school and the teacher!
This is the scene I was referring in the title, Narukami goes back to the origin and becomes again the undefeatable stripper! It was even more creepy and funny than the first episode!
I was battled between this and the first love hotel scene (that was funny as well), but in the end I've gone for the most powerful one!
I also loved to hear again Rie Kugimiya in full power mode after Rise managed to get drunk by mere soft drinks. I have to say that it's impossible to get used to her wonderful voice.
Now what? Next episode seems to be focusing on Naoto's arc and will probably last for another episode as well. (If they follow the normal pattern of introduction-> resolution)
After that we still have a lot of episodes to conclude the story and I'm starting to think that we will get a lot of twists at the very end...
I'm really curious about the origin of our protagonist powers! If the people of the Velvet Room are not involved, it means that there is someone else who gave this power to our protagonist... But I really don't have a clue about who...:|
Concluding, I'm extremely happy about the progression of Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4! If done correctly, this can become a classic anime and one of the masterpieces of the latest years.
I'll continue to blog and watch this series in the future as well.
