Here we are to talk about the 13th and 14th episode of the fall 2011 action anime series named Mirai Nikki that continues to surprise us with great action and interesting story developments!
I was really blown away by the incredible quality of the mental battle between Yuno and Akise during these episodes and how Yukiteru actually ended up to be the key to Yuno's defeat!
Yukiteru is finally going through the change we were always hoping for him. Now we need just another big shock to his life in order to make him a proper player of this twisted game.
In these two episodes we also get some fair share of screen time for Hinata beauty and some generic comedy around the yuri relationship Mao is hoping to get from her...
I have to say that I don't think that Hinata can be a middle schooler at all! She's...too much in too many ways I can think of...:D
By the way, I'm quite sure she will survive the game at the very end, especially now that the number of dead people increase. This whole "everyone dies" approach, makes me end up thinking about a Mai Hime ending with some kind of 180° turnaround twist at the very end.
Finally Yukiteru is growing up to be a man as you can clearly see in this short video and hopefully from now on he will never revert back to his older wimpy self.
To be honest, I can't even imagine how hard it is to live for weeks confined with a crazy girl (should I add beautiful?) who says that "she loves you" while trying to kill your only friends...
By the way, I really laughed out loud when Kosaka received his disciple diary through the Internet. He was the last one I would have thought as a real diary user.
At this point we know that there is a diary owner (the next enemy they will have to fight I suppose) that is able to create new diary owners thanks to the powers given by his diary.
The exact way this new diary power work is not explained at the moment, but I suppose we'll get additional info in the next episode. After all, Yukiteru will soon be forced to fight against the three disciples they introduced at the very end of the episode.
I'm also curious about how Yuno will be able to gain back Yukiteru's trust, she'll need some kind of miracle or some incredible shock on Yukiteru's side...
Concluding, Mirai Nikki is still an extremely strong series. If it continues this way it will become one of the best anime series of the fall season 2011!
I'll be going to continue blogging and watching this series in the future as well.
