Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the last episode of the comedy anime series Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai that concludes its run with a really cute episode all focused around Yozora's character.
It was really wonderful to finally see the "dere" part of Yozora's personality and I have to say that in this episode she's really a cute girl, maybe even more than Sena. (In terms of hotness Sena wins anyway...:P)
The season also have a rather open-end conclusion leaving plenty of possibilities for a second season in the future continuing the story.
The episode is divided into two main logical blocks. The first one focuses on the face-off between Yozora and Kodaka after Kodaka finally understand that she is "Sora"!
It was really nice to see the initial episode from Yozora's position and clears out a couple of questions I had on the first part of the storyline.
Another important note is that Kodaka finally blushed in front of Yozora. I still don't understand his logic though, especially after he didn't blush watching a naked Sena run freely in her house...:|
This is what I call moè power, it was a bit sudden the change in personality from the "hard tsun Yozora" to the "moè moè Yozora", but the end-result was so good that I'll forgive them.
Now that Yozora is in her "dere" mode for Kodaka, Sena will have a much harder time to get Kodaka's attentions and the triangle relationship will hopefully heat up...
The second block end the story with some random funny scene inside the club, featuring pretty much all the characters from the story, leaving us with many chances for a second season in the future.
A second season that will cover the rest of the material present in the original light novel. From the quick search I've given on the net, it looks there is still plenty of material to adapt...:)
It will, as always, depend on the sales the DVD/BD/Merchandise will get. Hopefully people will get interested in the "upgraded" animation quality from the DVD/BD fixing up all the problems we got in the TV broadcast.
Concluding, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai has been a really entertaining anime series with plenty of funny episodes and lovely characters.
I'm extremely eager to know more about this story (just ordered two new manga volumes) and I hope we'll have a second season in the future!
Visual Points : 700/1000 (The whole style is good, but the animation was really bad for most of the season)
Audio Points : 800/1000 (Liked the voices and both OP/ED)
Story Points : 750/1000 (Clichè comedy with tons of references. Decent, but nothing special.)
Entertainment Points : 870/1000 (I really had fun following the story!)
Characters Points : 875/1000 (What part of "I love all of them" did you miss?!)
Final Points : 16.305/20.000
