Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the 11th episode of the anime series Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai that is slowly coming to an end with Kodaka finally recognizing Yozora as his childhood friend "Sora".
The plot device to allow this reunion was a bit lame (fireworks burning Yozora's hair), but the final scene was so cute and heartwarming that I'll probably forgive them this time around.
At the same time in this episode (that, by the way, had a decent level of animation quality) we get some great comedy scenes with Rika, Sena and the others.

The episode starts with the members of the club planning to go to a local festival to eat some Takoyaki and configure itself like the typical yukata-driven episode of many other harem series.
As soon as the festival begins, Sena and Yozora start to bicker between themselves ending up battling in various games until the end of the whole night (it was a bit annoying honestly). Fortunately we do get some funny scene with Yukimura, Kobato and Rika in the meantime!
At the very end during the fireworks event, Yozora end up with part of her hair burned by the biggest firework. The festival end up on a sad note with Yozora leaving and the members disbanding until some days later when...
This scene was really cute to watch, nothing really emotional as we knew about this since the start, but still something that warmed my heart...
Yozora looks a lot better with short hair and maybe thanks to this change her "always irritated" face will soften up a bit. Hey we may even watch her smile more often...:P
She and the other members of the club have to understand (and I hope they will in the last episode) that they definitely have friends at the moment!

Next episode, the last of this season, will probably bring closure to the Yozora/Kodaka pair story and hopefully give us some hint of a future production continuining the storyline from the novels.
Unfortunately, at this point in the series (with only one episode left) I think they'll keep the real past of Sena and her position in the battle for Kodaka a secret for the next "possible" second season.

Concluding, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, even if with some little animation problems mid-way through the season, is proving itself as a solid and entertaining series and a candidate for an high position in my rankings.
It'll all depends on the last episode I suppose,
See you soon,
