Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the 9th episode of the comedy/fanservice anime series of this fall 2011 anime season named Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sukunai based on a series of successfull light novels.
The series continues to keep the same levels of the previous episodes giving us plenty of fanservice, some nice laughs and probably the worst animation of this anime season.
While hoping for some quality improvement in the DVD/Blu Ray releases I'll just keep on enjoying the various scenes focused on the lovely pair Kobato/Sena and the other girls.

This episode was divided in two main blocks. The first one is a sort of sequel from the last pool episode with our club deciding to pass some free time together in Sena's private beach in order to recover from the bad experience in the crowded pool.
The second one, the most interesting, focused on Kodaka and Kobato staying over at Sena's house with all the hilarity that inevitably will ensue when Sena is mixed up with Kobato.
I liked the personality of Sena's father and I'm now extremely curious about how Sena's mother look. She should be really beautiful to create a wonderful girl like Sena!
On the comedy side we have many scenes, as you can see in this example, with Sena trying to capture Kobato! Unfortunately for her, Kobato isn't willing to give in her advances.
I may be a bit repetitive, but I have to commend on Kodaka's poker face even in the most embarassment inducing scenes, especially if you think about the last "Sena jumping around naked" scene.
Honestly speaking, that was a scene where looking embarassed would have been normal. He was more annoyed than embarassed, but well...

I also extremely liked the final shot with Yozora in her own house. She was somehow a lot more cute than in all the other scenes till now, but I can't really explain why...
Next episode will cover in detail the beach episode with all members of the club partecipating. I think that this is the greatest and last opportunity to make even more fanservice.
This time the focus will probably shift away to Yozora and the other girls (that were quite neglected recently...), but down in the bottom of my heart I'm still hoping for more Sena and Kobato screentime...

Concluding, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is continuing to be a funny and fanservice prone series that continues to give more of the same!
I'll continue to watch and blog this series, but I really wonder how they'll be able to conclude the story properly in the few remaining episodes...
See you soon,
