Hello everyone,
Today we'll talk about the 9th episode of the anime series Cube X Cursed X Curious, that while being near to the completion introduce a brand new opening animation/song all focused on Kirika's character.
The series is keeping up the same levels of quality we saw during these months and I'm starting to get new glimpse of gore incoming now that the new really evil character has been introduced.
We also get the introduction of a new character in Kuroe (a doll just like Sovereignty) that somehow act like the "fanservice nullifier" character being just plainly cute.
The episode start fast with the introduction of Kuroe as a cursed tool that managed to "break" the curse afflicting her! She is a long time acquaintance of our protagonist and one of the resident of the big home.
We also immediately get the introduction of another old lady named Alice trying to collect cursed tool in some sort of "family". While the motives behind the creation of this family are unknown, I don't trust her completely.
I feel a subliminal message coming from this series stating that all old ladies are evil. Especially if you think that the only two real enemy of this series are this new Alice and the old dear Peavy! :P
Muramasa continues to steal the scene to Fear with her undefeatable charming and cosplay power. Fear just can't defeat her in terms of hotness after all, maybe only Sovereignty and Kirika have some chance in this battle...
As you can see, the series continue to fill inside every blind spot a great combination of fanservice and comedy while adding new elements to the overall storyline.
I just wonder when we're going to get some nice Shiraho fanservice time, I think she would look great in a China dress...
If I have to name the best scene of this episode would clearly be the cute and funny scene between Sovereignty and Kuroe. Maybe there is some special link between dolls! :D
The worst scene was that fricking teacher/scientist touching my lovely Kirika without permission. I hope he'll die in some way by the end of this season/series...:P
Next episode will likely try to explain what Alice meant when she said that she was the "guilty" one. I'm just hoping nothing bad happened to Kuroe...
Concluding, I'm happy with Cube X Cursed X Curious and I'm eager to watch and blog about these last couple of remaining episodes.
