Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the 8th episode of the anime series Shin Megami Persona 4, that is slowly adding new details to the major plot story (the murders) while not forgetting to mix in comedy (with Kanji) and fanservice (with the combination of Chie and Yukiko).
I quite liked how they portrayed the personality manifested by the brother of one of the victims. I wonder if he'll ever know about the truth behind his sister's death...
I also wonder if the enemy will be able to make other victims in the future. I hope our heroes will be able to prevent it, but well...who knows?!

The episode is divided into two main parts. The first is the preparation of our team to the upcoming school-camp by buying the various ingredients needed to cook and the second is focused on the school-camp experience by itself.
The school-camp experience was really something hilarious! First we had Chie and Yukiko trying to kill the two males with some "special" curry. I really wonder if Yukiko will be able to succeed in the inn she will inherit, because her skill is really something dangerous for customers...
Soon after we switch to Kanji's classic jokes revolving around him "sleeping with" the other two males of the group and we end with Kanji's "first love rejection" and all the hilarity that ensues around this.
Yes, this is what we all need from Persona to be happy after all! The fanservice scene of the week revolves entirely around Chie and Yukiko gorgeous swimsuit looks!
I really have to thank Hanamura for buying the swimsuits! By the way, between the two girls, I still prefer Chie's cute look over Yukiko's hotness. I wonder why...
I am now deeply interested in how Rise and Naoto will fit in this context as soon as they get properly introduced in the following episodes. I expect (or maybe simply hope) some heavy fanservice fight between the girls in the future episodes...

This episode don't add much information about the killer to be honest, but at least we now know that all the people kidnapped to the TV world appeared right before in a TV broadcast.
What could that mean? I'm not entirely sure why the killer would choose his victims by watching a random broadcast on the countryside TV... (from this info I can deduce he may well be someone we already know...)
Next episode will start the Rise Kujikawa arc! I really wonder what kind of personality this school idol has and what is her shadow/other self...

Concluding, Persona 4 is proving itself to be a solid and entertaining anime series to watch in this fall season 2011.
I'll continue to blog and watch it in the future as well.
See you soon,
