Hello everyone,
Let's go talk about the seventh episode of the anime series Guilty Crown that again slowed down the plot advancement to let new characters get introduced in the storyline while continuing to provide us high quantity of fanservice.
Honestly speaking they're doing a good job trolling the viewer base, I can already imagine how many hate post we'll start to get after this episode. (adding on the top of the many I read over the course of the previous weeks)
This time we introduced the president of the student council, blonde hot girl named Arisa Kuhouin, that is also the child of a big and powerful japanese family interested in the restore of Japan's sovereignty!
Ah, we also get Shu's mother introduction. She is a quite young looking lady named Haruka, and all the odds are that she is not his real mother...

The first half of the episode consist of normal doki-doki school life action by Shu and Inori like nothing happened right some days before. They go to school, get a bit discriminated by some random character, but in the end everyone is happy that Shu is back into the class...
We also get to know Shu's mother named Haruka, and she gets to know Inori's presence. She doesn't look really surprised by Inori, and that raised in me some suspects that she may know more than us on Inori...
After this slow-paced recreation we shift to the mission with Gai and Shu going to a party in order to find new funds to finance the rebels and a route to make these funds pass through. Unfortunately for our heroes, the ship on which they are is attacked by the GHQ, but there is nothing to be scared of...

Yes, because the He-man is on the ship and he will save us all through some "Just as planned" scheme. Gai "kidnap" Arisa and after a romantic scene between the two (while missiles were flowing right in front of them) Shu takes Arisa's void that is a defensive item capable of deflecting everything including the missiles.
The whole execution of the scene was done in such a way that you really couldn't take them seriously, with Gai not even fazed by the whole "there are 9 gazillions of missiles incoming on the ship" while flirting with Arisa...
The positive note in this whole situation is that Gai acts a lot different toward Arisa compared to Inori, and that makes me hope they won't end up in the dramatic triangle relationship between Gai, Shu and Inori.
Oh, that outfit and young look is definitely unfair my dear Haruka. Are you trying to kill me by over-hotness?!
If the story continues this way I'll end up calling dibs for Haruka and Arisa as well. It seems that harem end is the only possible end in this series! :P
Next episode? We have no clues on what could happen, but hopefully some light will be shed on Haruka/Inori relationship as she is shown in a photo at the very end of the episode together with Inori (the old one) and Shu...

Concluding, while not entirely convinced by the plot till now I'm still enjoying Guilty Crown and I'm eager to blog and watch the future episodes as well.
See you soon,
