Hello everyone,
Today we'll stray a bit from the coverage of the current fall anime season to give a look at what the upcoming winter season is preparing for us. The first installment of these previews cover the most anticipated series of this new season by me.
I'm talking about Bakemonogatari's sequel named Nisemonogatari produced by Shaft with the classic direction of Akiyuki Shinbo (director pretty much all Shaft's productions including Madoka Magica, Denpa Onna, Bakemonogatari, etc..) and featuring the recurring cast from the original series.
The information over Nisemonogatari are slowly starting to appear on the net including names of the seiyuu involved in the project and the stories they will adapt in this TV series...

As the sequel of a series I ranked fourth best anime of all the one I reviewed I have great expectation for this title, hoping it will be the best anime of the next season.
The new stories will focus on the two little sisters of Koyomi Araragi named Karen Araragi and Tsukihi Araragi (shown in the wallpaper just up this text) that were only slightly mentioned in Bakemonogatari. Both of them have their personal story just like all the other girls in Bakemonogatari.
Without going into spoilers, Karen (Eri Kitamura) is an rather aggressive and active girl and her story is named "Karen Bee". Tsukihi (Yuka Iguchi) is the exact opposite of Karen, being reserved and timid and her story is named Tsukihi Phoenix.

I've given a quick look at both stories and they look really interesting, especially when they focus on the relationships of the two sisters between themselves and I'm curious how they'll adapt their brother complex toward Koyomi...:P
I'm only a bit worried about Tsukihi being voiced by the seiyuu of Maho Misawa from Ro Kyu Bu. I really don't like that kind of squeaky voice and I hope she'll be able to change it enough in this new production...
I also read about the other stories following the old cast, but I'm not entirely sure about how many of them will be adapted. I'm hoping for Nadeko Medusa to get adapted as I loved her character and seiyuu (Kana Hanazawa)...
Oh, this little PV released really show us some interesting changes, especially on the graphical side for Bakemonogatari old cast. First of all, Suruga now looks a lot cooler than before with her new outfit!
Nadeko is as cute as always even if I honestly prefer her in the old version! Hitagi? Hitagi is even hotter than before with short hair, she's really incredible!
What of Mayoi?! Wait, was there even a character named that way? I don't remember...:P

That's all for this little preview! This is one of the series that I'll blog and watch for sure over the winter season and I suggest it to anyone looking for a great plot-based series! (If you still haven't watched Bakemonogatari, GO NOW! :P)
See you soon,
