Hello everyone,
Today we'll talk about the seventh episode of the anime series Kyoukai Senjou No Horizon that is back with a bang filled with battles, cuteness and a weird cliffhanger centered around Toori Aoi...
The character design and the whole animation of the battles were both excellent and it was really pleasing to see the two characters spar together. This together with the evolving plot (that starts to make some sense) is creating many expectations in me for the future war...
I am still unsure how the students will be able to fight on the same ground as a real army, but I have hopes that Toori will do something to fix that with his "powers".

The episode start and focus all his run on the battle between the two factions that needs to decide what to do with Horizon's abduction and the future of Musashi now that the old crazy guys self destructed the most important building in the world.
From one side we have Honda Masazumi, Neito Mitotsudaira and a new character possessing a big mecha! From the other side we have the accountant of the student council, Suzu Mukai and Toori Aoi. The first group to win two matches will decide the destiny of the country.
After the first, rather easy win for the accountant against the mecha girl, we face a grave danger with Neito Mitotsudaira trying to destroy the knight order by submission letting Suzu win.
This would imply that we would not get the knight order on Toori side in the upcoming battle and that's a grave danger against a full fledged army...
This is when Suzu's inner power really manifest! Yes, a cute power that is capable of making Neito protect her and win the battle keeping up the honor of the knights.
Neito is exactly the same as always, a rather innocent and cute girl. I wonder if she's really powerful in a combat situation, as we only saw glimpses of her power in the OP sequence...
I like how Suzu is being showcased a lot in these recent episodes, but I feel that her role will diminish in the second part of the series as she is, after all, a secondary character.

The third battle is a battle between Toori Aoi and Honda Masazumi and is here where we have the cliffhanger that managed to shock even the various enemy characters that were watching the scene from the TV...
Toori Aoi start his speech by saying "why don't we stop trying to save Horizon?!" and there the episode end leaving us with no words and with plenty of doubts in Toori's words.
Will he really desert Horizon? I think that's not the case, but then what's his purpose? What is he trying to achieve by telling this to Honda Masazumi?!

Plenty of questions, but at the same plenty of exciting possibilities open for Kyoukai Senjou No Horizon.
This is a series that I'll definitely continue to watch and blog in the future as well...:)
See you soon,
