Hello everyone,
Let's go talk about the fourth episode of the anime series Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai that completed, as expected, the coverage of the micro-stories of Kazuko Kawakami and Christiane Friedrich.
By the way, both stories are completely unrelated to the real story of their route in the game and are just remotely referencing some scene from the game like the bathroom scene for Christiane or the Kazuko love for her new family.
Yes, still no information on when the true route events from the game will finally start to unfold, but having completed the coverage of the main five girls I think it shouldn't be too far away.

I'll be honest, now I understand why this anime got rejected by one TV station completely. They're simply going over the top with plenty of fanservice by completely disregarding what really happened in the game to the girls.
While this is not a bad thing by itself, as I like fanservice especially if its on character I love, it is somehow somehow sad that this visual novel series will pass up ignored by the great majority of the anime watchers as "just another harem/fanservice series".
I am not anymore sure about what they are planning to do right after this introduction arcs, but I surely hope they've got something interesting under their sleeves for us.

On the positive side, we do get one of the charming point I most liked of the protagonist in the visual novel actually reproduced in this fourth episode of the adaptation.
Yes, I'm talking about his smart brain and the way he tries to talk out of any situation he may find himself in with nearly absurd references. He was near to fool even Christiane...:P
It somehow remember me of a more down-to-earth version of the protagonist from Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori Mo that is one of my favourite visual novels of all times together with Majikoi!
That was one of the first reviews I wrote on this blog, so bear with me with the quality...:P
Yes, as everybody who played the game knows, under the tsun external appearance there is a very cute girl in Christiane as shown in this little scene.
The anime tries to replicate that, but unless you play her route fully in the game you can't really understand why she captured the heart of thousands of fans (me included) with her pure cuteness / wife appeal.

Concluding, I still harbor some hope that this series will redeem itself in the near future with the true route story and I'll continue to watch/cover Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai in the future as well!
See you soon,
