Hello everyone,
Today we'll talk again about the third episode of the all-talk-no-battles (at least for now) action series of this Fall season 2011 named Fate Zero.
Why am I so critical you say? Well, being the series divided into two season I would like to get my share of awesomeness in this next couple of months instead of having to wait till the far April...(that is the month when the second season will run)

This third episode was really slow paced and focused on the outcome of the battle between Gilgamesh and True Assassin that ended up to be a fake battle just to lure the other masters into thinking there is no assassin servant anymore.
While this may have worked for some of the master/servant pairs like Caster, Lancer and Berserker, it certainly didn't for Kiritsugu or even Rider.
In fact, Kiritsugu is already cautious about this whole situation and is slowly preparing to enter the fray with some friendly guns with him.

The episode end with a very nice cliffhanger right before the beginning of the battle between Saber and Lancer (He uses two lances?!).
I'm not entirely sure how long will the battle last before one of the two run away, because it looks to me too early to kill off a servant already!
By the way, I started to deeply hate Kiritsugu's personality in this episode and he will have to really do some miracle to redeem himself and regain my trust.
I mean, what the hell is he doing with that lady while he has Irisviel that is a beautiful girl and mother of his child?! He really don't understand how lucky he is!
Yes, as you can see Kirei is not alone, but he has a heartwarming family filled with love around him. That's why he's always so happy!
I wonder, do they really have to kill all these guys before being able to really kill True Assassin?
Isn't that something like a cheat power-up?! I counted over twenty of them, they have more lifes than Berserker of the fifth war!

Concluding, I'm still positive in the outlook of this series. This show has great potential to create a memorable experience, we'll see in the next episode if they'll use the potential correctly!
Will the next episode action-packed? I surely hope so and I'll continue to follow/blog about this series like always!
See you soon,
