Hello everyone,
Let's go talk about the second episode of the fall 2011 mystery/action anime series Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4 that is starting to introduce the strong cast of characters by letting the plot progress in a very slow and natural way.
The story progression was really game-like with all the internal struggle, the battles and the power-up, but I'm not sure how much they followed of the original game so I'll leave this bit open until I talk with someone knowledgeable of the game!

The second episode continued right from where the first end (confirming us that the series is going for plot continuity instead of episodic adventures) and explored the second of the main characters in Yosuke Hanamura.
The development of the story was a bit clichè, but I am satisfied on how they decided to let Yosuke fight his other self and gain his persona. (even if without Yuu he would have just died like the others...)
I was also extremely happy to see that both Yuu and Yosuke don't strip anymore when summoning their persona. I still have shivers when I think of the first episode summoning scene. :D
That's bad guys! You can't let Chie cry and despair in that way alone in the shop, now you'll have to compensate with costly food services for our lovely girl!
By the way no, don't think one time will be enough to satisfy her infinite hunger for food! :D
I'm liking more and more the Chie's personality. She's energetic, cheerful, cute. I doubt any of the other three girls will be able to capture my heart more than her, but I'm open to challengers!

On the story side we got to know that there is a human culprit of the recent two killings and it must be some other guy with the power to enter the television world. This guy will probably own a persona as well because otherwise how he would still be alive in that dangerous place?!
But giving the small number of characters we got to know at this moment, I think he still have to appear officially...unless the loli Nanako is the real culprit and source of all evil! After all cute is evil, isn't it?! :P
Next episode will focus with Chie fighting her other self to gain her persona, I am really curious to know what is the other side of my lovely Chie! I'm also interested in knowing why Yukiko seems to be involved in this whole affair...

Concluding, I'm very happy with the direction the series is going and I'm curious to know who is the real culprit behind all these incidents.
I just hope its not that Yukiko's stalker saw in this episode...
See you soon,
