Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the second episode of the best fanservice/comedy series of this fall season 2011 (at least till now) named Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai based on a game from Minato-soft with the same name.
The series adapted by Lerche seems to be focusing on the true path of the story with some slight divergence (at least till now) due to the meddling of some "unknown" force that is working together with the Kawakami rogue member.
Yes, I'm talking about those military shown in the first episode that I don't remember from the game, but maybe I just forgot about them...

They are also delivering a lot more fanservice than present in the game. The game was a lot tamer than what they've shown in these two episodes especially if considering the censured bath scene.
I'm quite happy they decided to follow the true path of the story because it was for sure the most satisfying in terms of ending, even if I'm a bit sad that I won't see all the great endings each heroine had. (Especially Kazuko and Yukie)
The episode act as a way to let us know better the characters and prepare the stage for the real storyline. Yes, they have to capture a dog, but they end up discovering well more in that old warehouse...
Oh yeah, both Yukie and Miyako rocks in terms of power and funniness. I can't get enough of Natsukaze trying to act cool and Miyako trying in every way to end up in bed with Yamato in one way or another.
By the way, I can't blame Lerche for trying in every possible way to let all the characters have some screen-time in each episode especially giving that they have a very short time before the real story kicks in.
They can't possibly adapt a game with a 50+ play hours length into a 12 episode anime (roughly 4 hours) series can they?

I'm extremely looking forward the upcoming battles, especially the one during the climax of the true end! Now what to expect for the following episodes of Majikoi?
If my memory serves right after a bit of slice of life (really short), things will start to get more serious and serious and from there it will be a run-to-the-end filled with action/revelations and twists.
Pretty much all the characters from the individual routes have a role in the true ending so, hopefully, every fan will be happy!

Concluding, I'm pretty happy with the adaptation till now and I hope they'll get rid of that censoring in the blu-ray versions.
I mean, it really looks weird and is quite annoying to watch! (I'd prefer the "ink" from Hyakka Ryouran if I have to choose)
Regards,
