Hello everyone,
Let's go talk about the second episode of Fate/Zero, the fall 2011 anime series that a lot of people on the blogosphere is fervently discussing at the moment.
This second episode marks the beginning of the fourth grail war with the summoning of all the seven servants (even if we only saw in action only a small part of them) and the first "battle" between Gilgamesh and True Assassin.

Why I'm remarking it as a "battle" you ask?! Because after watching a bit of street dancing between barriers by True Assassin, he just get owned by Gilgamesh in less than a couple of seconds by the Gate of Babylon.
If you don't trust me on the street dancing bit, give again a watch to the scene. I was laughing for the whole duration of it! :D
I still think that True Assassin has some secret card to use against Gilgamesh, because if you give a watch in the OP animation you clearly see Saber fighting against him.
I wonder if his power will be enough to stall Gilgamesh till he is able to murder Tokiomi. (even if it looks to me a bit early to kill off Tokiomi...)

On the rider side, the young master is being played around by Iskandar and his powerful personality. They sure makes a nice pair together as they are the radical opposite. A timid and insecure mage together with a powerful conqueror without fear.
If I have to say one bad thing about this episode is definitely the scene right after the summoning of Caster. It was literally creepy and disgusting how they killed off that little innocent child...
I hope Saber and Kiritsugu will have a good time killing them both as SLOWLY as possible. I would accept even a battle against Gilgamesh if there are no other possibilities to kill them off as they have zero chance against him.
Going back on the light side, here we have our cute loli tsundere Ilya playing around with his father. She was so cute, even better than the Rin/Sakura pair to be honest, I want to take her home!
By the way, I found amusing how little Ilya has grown in ten years between the fourth war and the fifth war. I wonder if its related with her being an homunculus or its just normal "plot" choice...:P

Concluding, this has been a satisfying episode, and the preview indicates that next week we'll get more action than ever! I'm curious on how the battle between Gilgamesh and True Assassin will go...
Still one week till the next episode...it is honestly hard to wait so much time...:(
See you soon,
