Hello everyone,
Today we'll talk about the first episode of the battle series animated by Sunrise named Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon based on a series of famous light novels with the same name.
This show sports one of the most important seiyuu cast of this entire anime season with plenty of big names working on the project. (Jun Fukuyama, Minori Chihara, Marina Inoue, Daisuke Ono, etc...)
The series quickly caught my notice due to the cute graphical style combined with an original premise that really stands out compared to the competition...

I can say that I'm happy with how they decided to play out the story till now. This entire episode was a way to showcase the enormous main cast of this Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. (even if only our protagonist and Horizon are the true main characters)
I quite liked the battle between the invincible teacher against all the students during their "exam" and I'm curious to see if the teacher will have some important role in the future evolution of the story.
It was also great to see that our protagonist has a great lively and energetic personality (voiced by the great Jun Fukuyama), it will prove useful to create some jokes during the execution of the story.
As you can see the animation is wonderful, one of the best I saw in the recent TV anime series. I am honestly happy with Sunrise this time around for the great job they're doing with this production. (it is a lot better than the crappy Sacred Seven)
The only bad note I can say on this series till now is that the character design and the colorful environment makes the story difficult to be taken seriously.
Hopefully we won't have much sad moments to bear while the massive racks of the girls of this story are moved by the unwavering rules of physics.

As usual whenever a new series start I search for the girl that will be my favourite, but at the moment being I'm battled between two characters to choose my favourite girl of this story.
One is the talented archer Tomo Asama (voiced by Ami Koshimizu) that is the blue haired girl showcased in two of the wallpapers posted today and the other is our heroine Horizon Ariadust (voiced by Minori Chihara) with her cool and composed look.

I'm especially looking forward to the next episode that will hopefully present our heroine Horizon Ariadust for the first time and will probably mark the start of the real story as well.
See you soon,
