Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the first episode of the series I was most waiting for in this fall season 2011. (even if most of the blog, even famous ones, forgot about it or simply ignored it to focus on other series)
Yes, I'm talking about Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai that is based on a game with the same name produced by Minato-Soft that is, by the way, the top seller visual novel game of the whole 2009.
As everybody probably know, I got engrossed in the original game due to the well executed story (plenty of routes to choose from and each one of them had an actual complex/interesting story to follow) and interesting characters.

This first episode produced by Lerche got me really surprised and increased my expectations ten-fold. They kept up an incredible animation quality even during the most intense battles, a quality that is pretty much at the same level of what they've done with Carnival Phantasm...
Also they started off the final battle of Momoyo's route and decided to construct the story from there. In the visual novel story our protagonist got accepted by Momoyo after the battle and they become a couple, but in this case he got rejected.
This may means (and is what I'm hoping from the bottom of the heart) that they're going to cover all the sub-stories before thrusting to the true ending.
Yes, Yukie rocks as always. She is and will always be my favourite character of this series together with Tsubame that is going to get introduced properly in the fan disk slated for January.
I loved all the details they managed to squeeze up into the first 24 minutes! We got everything that made that battle epic (even if the pace was definitely too fast), starting from Yukie protecting alone their leader to Miyako bombarding the enemies from far away.
Hell they even managed to put the "spanking" scene with our protagonist when he capture one of the enemy generals. (that by the way is going to become an heroine in the fandisk)

The only preoccupation I have is related to the time available to the anime. Most news websites mark this series as 12 episodes long (1 cour) and that would be really a waste because the storyline of the game was well over the 40 hours long with plenty of interesting arcs that I would like to see adapted.
I am extremely looking forward to the prime minister battle game with Yukie and Yamato against a rogue Kawakami member (in Yukie's route) and Christiane kidnapping by the german army. (in Christiane's route)

I'm definitely positive on the outlook of this series and I'm going to blog this series pretty much regularly.
See you soon,

P.S. I want more Yukie!!!
