Hello everyone,
Today (-2 days to the beginning of the new season) we'll talk again a bit on the upcoming anime series Mashiro Iro Symphony that we already partially previewed in a previous post months ago.
Mashiro Iro Symphony is going to start air the fourth of October slated to run for a single season (12-13 episodes) pretty much like most harem series nowadays.
This series follows the most common format found in the harem anime series (and pretty much a good 90% of the visual novels) that is a single lucky guy ending up being surrounded by plenty of beautiful girls (and the obviously present "best friend that won't get half girl") in an high school setting.

Since the time of the last post, a lot of new informations started to spawn over the net over this series. As usual let's pick up the rumors as grain of salt!
First of all, all rumors seems to indicate that the ending they will probably follow is Sena's one that is a quite good ending with plenty of drama and cuteness. (By the way, Sakuno's ending is also good...)
It is also pretty sure (but still a rumor) that the new character shown in the PSP adaptation (Yutsuki Onomiya) won't have much role in this storyline!
The graphical style as you can see in this promotional video is far from being CG level quality (quite obviously), but it is bearable enough to warrant a watch.
I only wonder if all this "cheap" feeling I get from watching the promotional video, especially from the "unprofessional" transition effects done right at the end on the girls.
I'm not sure if this is just an illusion (done by a badly produced promotional video), but this anime adaptation just doesn't seems at Fortune Arterial or Hoshikaka's level in terms of visual production... (even if being produced a big animation studio like Manglobe)

Talking about the music/songs being featured in this anime, I'm extremely looking forward to the ending theme "Suisai Candy" sung by marble.
I'm quite a fan of marble's music after being engrossed in the great ending themes (Mebae Drive is probably the best!) they've done for Hidamari Sketch.
I'm also interested in the opening theme "Authentic symphony" sung by Choucho. They did a nice job with Kami-sama no Memo Chou's opening and I'm hoping for another great single to go into my library!

I'm looking forward to this series and if they make it right I'll be covering it regularly in this blog!
I just hope they won't pull me a Miu troll ending like they've done with Hoshikaka though...
See you soon,
