Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the last episode of the great anime series named Steins Gate that completed its run with today's episode resolving in a rather unsurprisingly way the remaining plot holes in the storyline and giving us the most satisfying good end that I watched in quite some time.
This 24th episode continues directly from the last scenes of the 23th episode with the future's Okabe explanation about the Operation Skuld and we get straight in the fray after the present Okabe manages to find all the things he need to save Kurisu once and for all from her destiny.

The whole execution of the rescue was really linear and apart from the obvious twist (the spray of blood wasn't working) it was easily predictable. I, anyway, liked the way they managed to bring closure to every plot holes including the father one by making Okabe pick up the metal Upa and giving Kurisu's father the plastic one.
The only regret I have with this ending is that the father of Kurisu is still alive, I would have preferred for him to die in some way during the flight or something. A guy that treats in that way his own child really is just wasting air in this world.
The final minutes were dedicated in closing the love story between Kurisu and Okabe and the Laboratory member position. Okabe goes around and deliver the pin badge with the initials of all the members (keeping one in reserve for Suzuha in the future) and there is even a great scene between Mayuri and Moeka that are now FRIENDS!

It is refreshing to see all the characters still alive living their life like nothing happened, but I am, at the same time, a bit sad for Okabe as he's the only one who remember clearly all the great moments together.
The scene between Okabe and Kurisu at the end was great and shows how Kurisu hasn't really forget everything about these days. I suppose they're going to create their life together from now on and I'm really in need of an after-story set 5-10 years later! Why? I want to see Kurisu and Okabe's childs!
My final ranking is really undecided as I have both Kurisu and Mayuri at the top, so high that I can't really distinguish which of the two I like more...:P

This has been a great series and I suggest it to anyone looking for some interesting storyline filled with likable characters. As long as you don't focus too much on the techno-babble you'll be enjoying great time with Steins Gate!
See you soon,

P.S. They shipped some hours ago my Kurisu's Nendoroid!
