Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk again about the yuri comedy anime series Yuruyuri that is virtually ended with this "emotional" episode (next episode will just be random mindless fun as the others) marking clearly the fact that Kyouko is the main character of this story.
Yes, let's talk about the 11th episode of this anime series, that talks about Kyouko's childhood life together with Yui and Akari before they grew up their personality to become what they are now. (even if, honestly speaking, Chinatsu and Yui aren't changed much from the past...)

The most important change in personality was in Kyouko. I was honestly not expecting to see a scary cat in Kyouko's child personality, I was more leaning toward her being the same as in the present. She was extremely cute as well and while it is a difficult choice I still prefer her present energetic self!
Ah, by the way Akari was a lot more "main character" than she is now, but that's a minor detail in the storyline as, you know, she's a background character, isn't she? :P
I liked a lot the friendly relationship they had in the childhood days with Akari trying to cheer up Kyouko (by making lame jokes) after she wounded herself by falling, or Yui swearing to protect Kyouko from the evil clutches of the witch Chinatsu!
The episode real focus comes right after with the condition that Kyouko gets after falling from the stairs that makes her return to be a proper girl following rules (she wanted to disband the club!) and being always educated with everyone everywhere!
While at first everyone was somewhat relieved by this change, things get different after a while when everyone start to notice that everything lack color when the real Kyouko is absent and in a rather emotional scene Yui crying ask Kyouko to come back. (they sure make a nice couple together)
Obviously they conclude it with great comedy by making Yui and the others attack her to make the old personality arise again as it should! :D

Still one episode remaining, but I can say already that this series has been an enjoyable ride for me and I'll be looking forward other works from the same writer! (and probably same animation company as well)
See you soon,
