Hello,
This morning we'll talk about the seventh episode of the anime Mawaru Penguindrum, a supernatural series of this summer season 2011 that is continuing to tease us with mysteries and questions that as always get little to no resolution.
This seventh episode continue with the tradition and deliver to us a mostly flat episode with no development whatsoever. Yes, because the focus is still Ringo's "love story", but even on this side other than watching the unwavering will to continue of Ringo, the story isn't really progressing at all.

The episode forget almost completely about Kanba's substory (that will likely have a major impact in the next arc) and deliver plenty of Shoma X Ringo time with a slow crescendo of crazyness in Ringo's behaviour from stalker-type to totally-creepy-type.
Starting from the frog supernatural magic supposed to make the teacher fall in love with him using the distilled eggs as love potions (that by the way end up eaten by Shoma's penguin) to the "I'll have your babies" scene right at the end with Ringo trying to sneak into Keiju's bed...
Talking about this last scene, judging from the past experience, I'm expecting a rather shocking scene for Ringo next episode finding Yuri sleeping in the bed with Keiju! That would hopefully give her the final hit to make her desist from her endeavour! (or well I hope so...)

From the other side we get to know that even Masako is planning a "Project M", but the content of it is likely different from what Ringo is trying to achieve. We also get to know that the penguin organization Kanba is getting the money from is unrelated with ball-shooter Masako and this give us many questions...
If the penguin organization is unrelated, who has given that cool penguin to Masako? My guess is as good as yours, but maybe there is another crazy hat like the one controlling Himari?! (by the way, Himari talking abusive on Shoma was funny to hear in the short Seizon Senryaku scene...)
I'm also a lot interested in the last missing guy in the storyline (judging from the OP). Who is he? Is he in any way related to the organization?

As always this series is delivering great entertainment for me, but as most series of this length the big twists are still far away (probably around 16-17th episode like with Steins Gate). I'm eagerly waiting next week's episode!
See you soon,
