Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk again about the fifth and sixth episode of the most cute series of this summer season 2011 named Ikoku Meiro no Croiseè that is starting to show some hint of romance in the air. And no, I'm not talking between Yune and Claude, but strangely between Claude and the sister of Alice...
Everything hints that they have some old relationship that somehow ended due to the different status between the two that is between a lady of an high class family and a normal artisan. (please remember that an artisan in that era, especially the ones with a property weren't exactly poor, but middle level)

The fifth episode focus on Yune facing the hard reality of the big city she lives now into, where no one trust another person straight away. She is the first to experience this being robbed by a little poor kid of the streets and ending up lost in the city as a result. It was quite distressing watching Yune become lost without knowing what to do to come back home. I almost expected her to start crying as soon as Claude appeared to take her home...
While there is no major focus on the kid story there are great chance of him appearing again soon (the preview hints that he'll be present again in the seventh episode), but no real certainty that he will have a major role in the story.

On the sixth episode we get a better insight on the life of the Blanche family, especially around the character of Camille, the sister of Alice. She's the most mysterious character of this series till now and she's sure to hide a not-so-good past with Claude. (Maybe they were lover?!)
I can understand what she means when talking about the "bird's cage" with Yune as all the life of the high class ladies was very strict with little to no real freedom in that era and nation. (Alice personality is actually an exception to the rule, more than the normality)
On the other side I'm starting to like a lot the butler of the Blanche family, his carefree smiling personality is quite refreshing and I found a lot funny how he talked to the camera-man when all the photos had some problem due to some interference!

Next episode looks like it will focus on the backstory of Yune and her sister, there is definitely something wrong as in the preview caps Yune is shown as sick while her sister is caring for her...What will happen?!
See you soon,
