Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the 5th and 6th episode of the loli anime series Ro Kyu Bu that with a simple plot revolving comedy, a little bit of drama and a rather generous amount of fanservice around these five elementary schoolgirls is able to keep us in continue need of a new episode.
After the survival of the female basketball group (thanks to the victory against the male team) and the confirmation of Subaru's position as coach in the previous episodes, we go ahead and explore a little more the relationship between the various members of the team.
These two episodes are dedicated to the triplet of childhood friends Maho/Saki/Natsuhi (even if Natsuhi is not really a part of the team, but well) and to the upcoming match with a powerful opponent. I'm liking how our character are slowly becoming better and better playing basketball, even our Hina (my favourite character together with Tomoka) has been able to score a point!
The drama around the Maho's personality wasn't the best to watch (maybe it was too childish from my standpoint, but well they're child aren't they?!), but it was nicely interleaved with comedy fragments and fanservice fragments to keep us interested and was overally good.
Talking about the characters, Subaru (our main protagonist) is a little in the "I don't know what to think about him" category as he sometimes looks like a paternal figure to the girls, but sometimes like an famelic adolescent craving for them... (I mean, watch what expressions he was doing in the last scene of the sixth episode!)
On the comedy side, this series is doing a great job with great comical events like the infiltration in the girls bedroom by Subaru and Natsuhi to give back to Hinata the stolen "goods" (Subaru's voice was hilarious in that part) that is also the reason of the title. No, he was not suspicious at all sneaking into Tomoka's futon to avoid detection...awww, I'm a little envious to be honest. 
What more to say? I heard from Micchi that the anime is following pretty much the same storyline as the LN with obvious simplifications due to limited time constraints. This makes me think that this series will end up either with a anime original ending or with an unconclusive ending (maybe to be filled up with a second season) as the light novels are at 8 volumes and nowhere near to finish.
Let's keep hope, I would like to see another season of this in the future to be honest.
