Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk again about the detective series of this season named Kami-sama no Memo-Chou starring one of the most cute heroine of all times.
This series after a wonderful first two episode (actually they were a single episode as they aired together), started losing points with the subsequent mini-arcs devolving into pure episodic fillers by the fourth episode without giving us any of the much wanted informations about Alice.

Let's start by talking about the third episode that concluded the yakuza arc. After a rather interesting start with some intricated story and tearjerking emotions everything concluded with a pathetic fight between low-level criminals in broad daylight in front of a bank without anyone even going near that bank until everyone was finished and had run away.
Secondly, why would a Yakuza criminal group let those father and child live after all that chaos?! Killing two people shouldn't be a big problem for them if they were managing all that massive quantity of illegal money...
I was appalled to watch the stupidity of all this, that combined with the whole NEET/Neat stuff make me think a bit if I really want to continue to watch this series. Man, there is a limit to the "willing suspension of disbelief"...

In the fourth episode we touch the rock bottom of foolishness with an episode dedicated to the ramen owner that is stalkered by some unknown guy. I can only think that this episode was a way to fill time while waiting for a more interesting arc as the only thing I remember in this episodes of memorable in this episode was the shower scenes of the ramen owner Min. (Ouch, she remind me of the To Aru Majutsu's beauty Kaori Kanzaki)
I mean, I accept character development episodes like this with emotional focus over the parent-child relationship between Min and her father...
...but there are a lot of more interesting things to cover, especially around Alice's character, backstory and personality and these are far more important than a random character put there just a way to justify how these NEETs (including Alice) are able to live without working.

Alice personality and character that should be the focus of the show is disregarded in these first four episodes and given little screen time and importance. She should be on screen at least half episode otherwise what's the point?!
In contrast to this, the rest of the (much hated by me) NEET squadron, together with the NEET Yakuza clan (that now have Narumi as a member) are basically guiding the show.
The future? Well, from the preview it looks like next episode will be another filler episodic story. Let's hope that this time they'll keep us interested!

While these two episodes were a negative experience I'm not giving up on this series and I'll continue to watch this, be it only for the short, but enjoyable moments in which our dear Alice show her cute side.
See you soon,
