Hello everyone,
Let's go with another post in a short term for Mayo Chiki (this time, hopefully, tomphile will be happy of the great quality wallpapers
) covering the fourth episode of the series continuing to alternate drama moments to comedy moments and that is slowly becoming one of my favourite series of this season.
The fourth episode turns out to be another episode focused on the triangle relationship between Subaru, Kanade and Jirou with the sister Kureha being the character driving the episode main plotlines. A relationship that is slowly growing up becoming something different for both couples Subaru/Jirou and Kanade/Jirou.

The episode's comedy/fanservice part was really clichè, but nevertheless funny to watch with the whole bath scene being the "main dish" for the episode especially from the fanservice standpoint with Subaru's slipping over Jirou! (All the cutesy actions by Subaru are too cute to be described with simple words, just give a look at the episode!)
I find myself really in a difficult position to choose a girl as best character in this series as I love all the one presented till now. The cute caring Subaru, the lady aggressive Kanade and the strong-but-weak-at-heart sister Kureha.

On the other side (the drama one) as I said in the title, we have a relationship between Subaru and Jirou that could be summarized as "Rui wa tomo o Yobu", a japanese proverb that is the equivalent as the english proverb "birds of a feather flock together". Their similiar experience in losing one of their parents created in them one link that will probably be the foundation of their future relationship as shown in this episode. (that is if Kanade doesn't steal Jirou from her...)
I'm also liking Jirou's attitude trying to be a male to protect Subaru like he promised. It reminds me of Touma of To Aru Majutsu no Index, without both the overpowered right hand and the infinite-monologue-works of course.

Next episode will finally mark the introduction of the new tsundere character Masamune Usami that will likely give the writer more possibilities to enhance the storyline. We still miss the introduction of another character named Nakuru Narumi of which we got a glimpse in the first episode!
I'm eagerly waiting for the next episode...
See you soon,
