Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk again about the fourth episode of this anime named Kami-sama Dolls that is turning out to be a rather interesting action series of this summer season 2011.
This episode starts to make light over many details around the backstory of our characters resolving some questions I had in the past episodes, while not forgetting to add up a nice dose of fanservice in the classic bath scene of Utau and Hibino. (both of them are a different type of beauty!)
The initial battle between Aki and the other Seki shows the knowledge, power and resolution to kill he have. What drives him is not totally clear, but likely is just vengeance over something done by our protagonist in the past.

Between all the questions, first of all we get to know that there are two families inside the village that continues from hundreds of years to fight each other for power. This knowledge make more easy to understand what happened in the past to our protagonist and Aki, as they were probably part of the Kuga army against the Hyouga family. What precisely happened is still unclear, but it is implied that both our protagonist and Aki have killed a lot of people using their doll.
Another important new information is about the Utau's origin, she's shown as very similiar to another Seki and at the same time as the teacher of Aki and our protagonist. (Teacher that likely got killed by Aki judging from the face made by our protagonist when she was mentioned)
What is the relationship between these three people with this uncanny similarity? My speculation makes me suppose that they are either child of the teacher or genetical clones, but I'm more leaning toward the latter based on the fact that our protagonist knows nothing of the new Seki.

I found very funny, but at the same annoying the personality of that freak that kidnapped Aki, I was shouting "just kill her already", but it seems that Aki will use her as hiding place to avoid encountering the other Seki. I think this is likely a flag that marks the fact that they'll likely become lover or something similiar in the future. (Oh, poor Aki!)
The series is also continuing to show us the most varied emotional faces of all the characters, between the frustrated and angry Utau, the embarassed Hibino and the dead angry protagonist. I'm wondering if this is a also a feature of the manga as its very rare to find some so pronounced face design in an anime/manga series. (depending on the outcome of this series, I may end picking up the manga of this series as well)

With this influx of new info, this series is slowly becoming one of the most interesting series storyline/mystery wise of this season. While following rather simple concepts, there is plenty of potential for this series to grow up as a memorable action series of the last years!
See you soon,
