Hello everyone,
Here we are for yet another post over the cutest series of the season named Ikoku Meiro no Croiseè that continues to keep up the same level of quality through all these first four episodes aired!
In this last fourth episode we see the introduction of the new ojou-sama character Alice resembling a lot Rena of Higurashi in terms of personality with her unwavering will of "taking Yune home" in every possible way. Not that I can really blame her for this. Who would't try to take Yune's home?!
Alice's personality is not inherently bad, she's just the classic lady who always had everything in her life and can't even think of something she can't get! Anyway, I liked how they managed to keep the drama at a minimum through the episode making Alice more like a new supporting character than a danger for Yune/Claude's relationship that, by the way, got even more solid in this episode.
The episode start with a bit of character introduction, and with the news that Yune can't bath regularly as Claude is too poor to afford it! We also have a quite nice fanservice scene for Yune here trying to bath in the house and ending up being "discovered" by Claude!
Soon after Alice takes Yune home to try to convince her to stay, but end up making some kind of blackmail against Yune and as I predicted in the last episode. Yune takes the hard approach in dealing with Alice showing resolute eyes and resolute actions showing us and Alice that she's not going to get bought by anyone...
...not that Alice cares much about it as right at the end of the episode she continue to think about how to make Yune her own! (The wolf wallpaper is the perfect visualization of their relationship!)
I have to agree that the energetic personality of Alice is a nice addition in this story mix that otherwise would have ended up becoming boring in the long run, and I hope to see more of her in the future!
In the next episode it seems we'll be exploring the story around the orphan that appeared already in multiple episodes in short burst. What will be his position in this whole storyline? Will he be a regular character?
Many questions, many questions!!! >_<
