Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk about the second and third episode of Kamisama Dolls, a summer season anime that is turning out to be a rather interesting pick if you're looking for some action series set in a modern world.
Thanks to the combination of Utau cuteness (that almost made me hug the monitor) and the mistery revolving the whole Seki and Kamisama world, this show really is a good candidate for this season's best battle series. (not that there is much competition though)

The series started up with a very weak first episode that is consolidated with the other two I watched giving good hopes on the future of the series. There are plenty of hints that could get turned into a nice battle-mistery story, now everything is in the hands of the writer!
The introduction of the two enemy-like Seki makes me think more and more that Aki will end up being an ally more than an enemy, while the whole village looks to me the real bad thing of the world. The face of Aki while almost starved wasn't the face of a criminal, but the face of a persecuted guy and I can't help, but feel empathetic with him.
By the way, what's up with the village?! Giving that dangerous object to a children like Utau is definitely a bad thing regardless of the situation they were in.

Talking about Utau, these two episodes did show clearly that she is really the core of this show, the real main protagonist. If you watch with care you'll notice that there are more scenes with her compared to the one with the supposed real main protagonist.
Her personality, voice and physical traits give her a refreshing look, especially if combined with the incredible faces and sounds she make whenever in distress or happy. It was right the Anonymous that commented in the old post! She is criminally cute and she is worthy of a entire website for her!

I'm continuing to watch this hoping it won't turn out to be another show ruined by an hasted ending like Yumekui Merry.
See you soon,
