Hello everyone,
Here we are for a second post on YuruYuri on a very short notice (only 5 days from the last post on it) due to the great direction change (genre-wise) this series had in this second episode that really changed the plan for many of us that blogged this series days ago.
I started thinking of this series as a mostly comedy focused series with plenty of cute girls. Well, I was completely wrong...

The first main change that probably everyone noticed is the increased presence of yuri content in the series. Yeah, its light (nothing disturbing at Simoun levels) and mostly focused around comical delusions, but its presence sure gives up this show a completely different face compared to what I was expecting from this show. I mean, I am already wondering which girl would pair up better with Kyouko.
Nevertheless the show remains like a great slice of life moè/yuri series even if somehow lacking in the jokes department. Ok, there are a couple of jokes here and there, but they don't make this a comedy series unfortunately!

The character designs and the cuteness increased a lot in this episode that mainly focused on the background around the most energetic and beautiful of the four main girls that is Toshinou Kyouko.
By the way, Kyouko is the girl I most like within the whole big cast shown till now. I can give a second place for the vice-president of the student council Ayano Sugiura for her tsundere attitude.
Also, I'll be honest, but I would have never thought Kyouko is the top student of the whole school as her personality is generally is used for characters with opposite traits! And she's also "loved" by the female vice-president of the student council!

What about Akari? Well, she sure got little screentime this time around, together with the Yui/Chinatsu pair! I'm hoping the series will focus more on the relationship between Yui and Kyouko, they sure form a nice pair together!
A week separate us from the new episode! Will they change again genre? We'll see...
See you soon,
