Hello everyone,
Here we are for yet another post. This time we'll talk of a series of the summer season that started its run and is the first series I watched of this new batch. I'm talking about "Kami-sama no Memo-Chou", an anime adapted from a rather successfull and still running light novel that also spawned a manga series for it. (Which, by the way, I plan to get in the next shipment)
Strangely for an anime series, this one started with a 1 hour (2 episodes) special covering an entire little arc, not sure about what are the schedules are for next week though.

Let's start with a quick synopsis of it :
The Story revolves around Narumi Fujishima an ordinary high school boy who remain isolated from his fellow classmates due to continue transfers between cities. One afternoon, fellow classmate Ayaka Shinozaki invites Narumi to join the gardening club and introduces him a reclusive "NEET" detective named Alice.
Ok, I watched the first hour special of this and I am pretty sure to define this series as "what you get if you pick up our cute loli Victorique and you put her in a modern environment, but you change the "classic" type of mysteries of Gosick with the hard modern reality shown in Denpa Teki Na Kanojo".
The first investigation really reeked of that corrupt world also shown in Denpa Teki Na Kanojo and really this would warrant this show an A+...well that is if we didn't have the NEET army to resolve these mysteries with their "courage"...
I can't really express only with words how lame and hateful were the three NEET around Alice. I seriously hope they'll not get too much screen time in the future.

On the positive side, the protagonist looks pretty much ok in both looks and personality, Alice is cute (well that her sell point, isn't it?!) and Ayaka is likely to get her place in my heart as the "Ryuuko" of the season. (Unless we get some other attractive energetic character in other series)
From the story side I can say that the misteries are interesting and I really want to know more about who's really Alice, what's her past and how she ended up becoming a "NEET Detective".
I want to give a special note to Yui Ogura (a soon-to-be 16 year old seiyuu) in her role as Alice, I'm really liking her voice and I'm interested in the role she'll be playing in Ro-Kyu-Bu. She's one seiyuu I'll be keeping an eye on for the future anime series.

What else to say? From next week we'll have a new mistery and from what I heard around, things will not be easy for Narumi that will be involved in something dangerous sooner or later.
I'll be watching this for sure and blogging it whenever I feel there is enough new info to make a new post for it.
See you soon,
