Hello everyone,
Here we are for the last post about this wonderful series named Denpa Onna To Seishun Otoko that finally today after a two weeks wait completed its run this evening!
The final two episode run (all in the same day after skipping last week) were a wonderful experience with great moments with all the characters having an equal share of the time of the episodes showing both cute moments, moè moments, serious moments and emotional moments.

From the build up 11th episode I especially loved the Yashiro's talk that while a little far fetched in the usage of the words, it was really straight to the point and shown point of views that I can really relate with. Thanks to that talk she convinced Makoto at encouraging Ryuuko with her practice match to show his own "superpowers" and making her win.
Somehow the Ryuuko's personality of trying hard at playing basketball, but failing was so lonely to see and I liked the way they decided to end it...
She truly is the best character in the end of this adaptation and she really got a jump up in my rankings thanks to that practice game. I feel Ryuuko is the best girl to end up with Makoto as they looks like the most cute and intimate together as with the other girls Makoto just act as a tsukkomi man with no real deep feelings.

The last episode is mostly dedicated to the final baseball match to decide the festival location and it was a nice way to end the series all based on the "running away because you're scared of failing" that took away Makoto from the soccer way.
The show didn't forget to alternate emotional moments with comedy points (like Meme appearance in that really hot baseball outfit) giving us in the very end the understanding (even if its not clearly said) that Yashiro has real powers and that helped Makoto win by creating the wind from nothing to make the homerun to happen.
The series is ended in a very open-end way giving us plenty of opportunities to see a future second season especially knowing there is still plenty of material to cover in the original light novel. (hoping the DVD/Blu ray sales will be good so that may act as an incentive to the producers)
I have to say "Great job Shaft" on this series. The production was incredibly of high quality for the whole adaptation with no particular problems of animation and with great graphical design / personality / voice-over for all the characters.
Let's hope they will keep up the same quality in the summer season series they'll be producing!

I'll miss all the characters of this series (Ryuuko!!!) and I seriously hope for a second anime adaptation soon. I'll also probably pick all the manga/LNs that will ever come out for this series as soon as possible.
Before concluding the post, let's review for the last time my rankings!
Ryuuko : +61 points (+20 points)
Erio : +56 points (+16 points)
Yashiro : +36 points (+13 points)
Maekawa : +35 points (+8 points )
Meme : +28 points (+10 points)
Ryuuko WINS, but maybe it was too obvious.
See you soon,
