Hello everyone,
Here we are (after I lost some time playing a VN that while excellent in graphical department was clearly lacking in the story one) for yet another rambling about Hidan no Aria, our loved fanservice series of this season featuring the ever tsundere Rie Kugimiya.

Progress? What's the meaning of such a word!? Obviously, there is no progress in the storyline, actually there is no progress even in the Riko sub-storyline even if some light is shed over her past that paint her as a no-so-evil enemy character and solidify her into the supporter character position.
Yes, something is hinted around the presence of this old "demon" as defined by Jeanne that defeated and forced Riko to become a greater thief than even her predecessors. Why? Well that's not really explained, but what's almost sure is that this new enemy is likely linked to the European Union. (that should be the final boss I presume?)

Also, now that Shirayuki is far away, the power of the team is quite reduced (Let's be honest, Shirayuki is damn powerful) and I'm not sure they'll be able to face this demon in a fair fight.
Fortunately, it seems that this demon is far away from his residence, or so they say... I'm not really trusting this news as otherwise the whole finale of this adaptation would be lackluster at best without a final boss fight with enough powers and special effects like Jeanne.

But in the end this series continues to revolve around fanservice and cute things here and there and let's say it, after ten episodes I am enough prepared to enjoy it without problems. I love fanservice and comedy, especially when well done, is there anything bad with it?
The only negative side is that I'll get next to none Shirayuki in the following episodes (unless she makes a fast return to help our main character) that being my favourite character is a little depressing...

Anyway, let's wait for next episode and hope they'll manage to close this series in a satisfying way.
Regards,
Alessio
