Hello everyone,
And here we are for our usual post about the series that is making half world die by moè overload. I'm talking about Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko that with this 10th episode seems to start defining what will be the final arc of this series revolving around the esper Yashiro Hoshimiya that we introduced last episode!
This episode by itself wasn't much more than a lot of fanservice and moè scenes revolving our heroines, especially around both Erio and Yashiro. I'll be honest, today's Erio was incredible cute, I had to rewatch at least ten times the futon battle scene before being able to continue with the episode.
This, and the small screen-time of Ryuuko that is step by step reducing her advantage in the rankings is making Erio more prominent as possible best character of the series. (I trust you Shaft, give me more Ryuuko goodness!)
The real meat of this episode was right at the end with the load of water that fall over Makoto without explanation that leaves us and the same Makoto thinking that maybe Yashiro does have some special power, and I'm very interested in her babbling about Erio being an alien after this. (she does need some credit after that realistic scene)
What are her true powers? Telekinesis? And from where she comes from? From the looks of it, she looks like a high class girl, that somehow find herself alone in that city (maybe she escaped from home? But for what reasons?)
Shaft and the original author have done a great job into giving us many hints right at the start of the last arc of this adaptation that will likely revolve around Erio's past. (or so I hope, especially knowing that Yashiro may know more about Erio...)
If you notice, the only two girls with the flashing hair are Erio and Yashiro, is this some kind of casuality/fanservice? Or it does have a real reason hidden in the plot?
