Hello everyone,
Here we are for another post just after I completed to watch the 9th episode of the anime series Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko that I think confirmed this series as the most solid of the whole season repertory while continuing to give little-to-none development in the story.
Aren't the two things in contrast you say? Not really, most of us watches this series just to get more and more moè overload from its unique characters so it's not much about having or not development.
This episode was a complete filler one that give a little more depth to the personalities of our characters (mainly Erio and Ryuuko), personally I liked the baseball game idea and the rivarly that is likely to grow up on the new boy introduced over Ryuuko's love.
For the rest of it, we see an Erio more and more interested in living the social life together with her cousin by partecipating in the baseball game, half killing the new cutie of the cast (Yashiro Hoshimiya) and actually giving better results in the game than her cousin.
Yes, because finally the series present the final character in this series main cast that looks like a little girl with white hair and that is likely even more denpa than Erio at the start of the series. She will be probably the focus on the new and final arc (as this series is slated for only 13 episodes) that we're going to start exploring from the next episode.
Let's hope Shaft will not disappoint us and will conclude this series with the best possible ending. (Need harem end for Makoto!)
Ah, by the way I have totally no clue about how this series can end up as there is no real plot lines to follow apart from the mistery behind Erio disappearence that will likely get ignored in this adaptation.

Yashiro : +8 points (+8 points because she got a good start with her alien voice and because the first wallpaper I found with her face is abnormally cute)
