Hello everyone,
After the classic coverage of the on-air series here we are again for yet another anime review. This time we'll talk of an unexpected success of the recent seasons in the comedy department.
Yes, I'm talking about Mitsudomoe, based over a manga series written by Norio Sakurai and that got well two anime adaptation! (due to sheer success I suppose)

Let's start with a synopsis :
Satoshi Yabe alias Yabe-cchi is just starting his new life as an elementary school teacher. On his first day of work he falls in love immediately with the natural airhead School Nurse, little does he know that in his assigned class the law is made by the Marui triplets. Can Yabe-cchi survive this ordeal or will the three sisters get the best of him ...
The storyline is pretty plain at first look and while the story never get really "deep", you'll get to enjoy thousands of very funny moments for its full duration. There are really a lot of funny situations, all very well managed by both director and cast and even after two season I don't get tired of watching more and more of them!

The characters are many and excluding the charismatic main cast (composed by the three sisters plus the teacher), the rest of the cast is easily forgettable and plain. I, for example, really don't remember almost any of the names apart from the main cast. (but somehow remember their traits like the spirit lover stalking Hitoha or the three fan of the "normal" boy)
The characters personality is pretty much static for the whole series as expected from a comedy series.

My favourite character is the dark Hitoha Marui, with her great facial expressions (she does look scary at times) and terrible misunderstandings she find herself into. (I loved the Gachi-ranger misunderstanding with Yabecchi)
In my hate category falls out Mitsuba Marui, I really can't stand bossy characters and even if she does have some cute moment I can't reedeem her completely.
The graphical quality is good for the anime, even if to be honest I preferred the more adult style of the manga. (in the anime they look too children and the style is deeply different than the manga). The animation is pretty good even if there quite a lot of little screw-up in various episodes.
The sound quality is also top notch with many famous seiyuu working on this series. I especially liked the voice of Hitoha (that is the fantastic Haruka Tomatsu), even if all of them have done a good job on their character portrayal.
Concluding this is a suggested series for anyone looking for a very good comedy series with great funny moments and continue laughs. There is also almost no fanservice so you can go sure on this also for a newcomer to anime standpoint.
See you soon,
