by feal872. June 2011 00:38 Hello everyone,
Here we are to talk again about a recent and very successfull series named Steins Gate that is currently airing on Japanese televisions based on an original work (visual novel) by NitroPlus.
I admit to have underestimated this series in my previous rambling (based on a single episode), after the first couple of episodes it started to pick up a very nice mystery pace and slowly I ended up in a situation where I just can't wait for the next episode to appear on the TV.

The characters is most likely what makes this series incredible. Both the protagonist (the self-proclaimed mad scientist) and the main heroine (Makise Kurisu) have a chemistry between them that makes most of the scenes just plain wonderful. (great work from the seiyuu of both characters is quite evident here even thought they're not very famous)
But let's not forget about the many other characters, all with their own perks and personalities. Second place in my heart right now for Mahiru with her care-free personality that probably hide something darker in her past (as shown in various brief flashbacks)

The story...the story is good till now, I was exactly with the same face as our protagonist at the end of the eight episode with that change in Akihabara.
But I can't really give a final vote till I see how they'll decide to end it as there is a lot to explore (all the plot lines are still hanging with almost no real solution whatsoever) and I'm really scared that they'll end up leaving too many unanswered questions.

What can I see for sure that this is a strongly suggested series of this season, so if you have time give the first couple of episodes a shot!
See you soon,
