Hello everyone,
Let's go with our usual Hidan no Aria post talking about the last couple of episode and more specifically about the sixth and seventh that marks the second arc of this series (after the killer of the previous arc) focusing on the very beautiful Shirayuki Hotogi, the classic traditional girl. (black long hair and miko clothes, what can you ask for more?)

The arc till now was very problematic to rate as we have two different part to rate here and both have a very different rating in my books.
The comedic/fanservice part were exceptional good. Between the many fanservice/comedic scenes, I loved Aria in her cheerleading outfit (with the nice angle of the camera thanks to the director), Shirayuki trying to show herself to Kinji as "compensation" and mostly all the catfight scenes between the two girls.

The plot part was quite irritating, but it's not related to the enemy or anything (Durandal looks to be connected with the EU so we'll likely see our Lupin soon as well). The problem is Kinji, he's irritating and is the cause of most of the troubles they got till now including the Shirayuki "kidnapping".
I just can't find myself to like the main character, hopefully it will get better as the series progress, but I'm not betting nothing on it.
On the other hand all the girls in this series are very good and interesting to watch, at the moment in the top of my rankings we have with the same points both Shirayuki (I have a weak point for jealous and wife-like behaving girls) that gained a lot with the last couple of episodes and Aria that is stable from the start of the series (I love Rie powered girls after all especially if with the trademark little flat body useful to get some comedic relief)

Concluding, , this series has been till now very plain without any shocking or breath taking plot twists and mainly driven by the great fanservice/comedy present in it that is anyway the only reason I'm still watching this in a constant way.
Somehow because of these traits, this series remind me of Infinite Stratos where the plot was just a decoration around the girls even if, in this case, the number of girls is at the moment limited compared to the academy harem of Infinite Stratos.
Next episode it seems that will be the ending of this arc, I'm curious what they will adapt after this arc and especially how they're going to make this series finish with the tons of material remaining in the original novels (as this series is slated for only 13 episodes)
See you soon,
