Here we are for a very quick post (Very quick as today my NAS died and had to lose most of my time to move the HD to my main computer and had almost zero time for a post) about Hanasaku Iroha after the last couple of episode of this series as I finally recovered on the air and reached episode 8.
First of all, I loved the granma delusion in the previous episode. I mean it was creepy, but at the same time very funny to watch. Also, I'm somehow getting very distracted by the hairstyle of the granma, it looks like...a bird?! 
About the story, I'm not sure what the scenario writers were trying to achieve as they are mixing comedy parts to slice of life and there isn't a very clear way to define this series other than a "it's good".
I am anyway interested to see how they're going to end this series (end that is anyway near) and if they'll be able to put real romance into this series as well, especially looking at the actual development of the series.
