Hello everyone,
Here I am after watching the fifth episode of Hidan no Aria to make a rambling over it as with all the "revelations" in the last two episodes, it does need some talk (especially around the main theme of the series).
I resisted last week to understand better the situation if it was as grave as I thought and here I am after this last episode concluding the first main arc of the story with the resignation of our protagonist to become Aria's partner.

Aria H. Kanzaki...Aria Holmes Kanzaki. I'll be honest, I laughed out hard when I heard about it because the Arsene Lupin vs Holmes is also the main theme of Tantei Opera Milky Holmes and somehow I got some reminiscence making me unable to take these two episodes seriously.
There are too many similarity to laugh about between the two series like the similiar bra size of the respective character (Arsene and Holmes) in both series and many others that you probably already know about.

Other than that the episodes were quite good with proper action (hell we even had the Histeria mode for a while) and fanservice (the kiss scene while forced was quite appreciated) and this series confirm its solidity to us making us wonder where this show is going.
Strangely I can't see Riko Mine as final boss, she'll probably become part of the harem soon after her arc comes to an end (still not sure if this series will cover anything other than her arc honestly)

Another interesting fact is the "come to E.U." line from Riko Mine and the mother of Aria that makes somehow think that the main enemy is the European Union government or someone related?
Well, that may be the case, or well someone who lives in that area at least. Don't know why they're scared thought...is the E.U. in this series something like a thieves heaven?!

Next episode seems to be filler with fanservice and comedy with Aria trying to reintegrate in the school with all the comedic scenes that ensue when she is involved.
That's all for now.
Regards,
