Here we are to talk again about one of the most strange series of this season named "Astarotte no Omocha" also known as "Lotte no Omocha" that we talked again some weeks ago.
What is strange about this series story you say?
Well, maybe the fact that they're trying to fit into a single series melodramatic scenes together with idiot/wacky one and strangely they're able to keep the whole series interesting while doing it and that's quite a feat to be honest.
I liked the way they managed to complete the Asuha whole backstory around her parents and the reason she was alone with Naoya even thought the progression was a little different from the approach taken in the manga.
Another important note is that the Mercelida's personality is quite different from the manga's one so the plot changes were to be expected maybe?! (and maybe we have to expect more of them in the future as well.
Also very nice the voices of many of the characters in this series (got many big names honestly), especialy Lotte's portrayal from our lovely Rie Kugimiya that combined with the personality of Lotte is basically growing up as the number one in my rankings of this series by far and wide.
What to expect now? Well, next episode will likely introduce the third child character in the series and with that we should be at full main cast for the final ride.
This series may not be something that will be remembered for many years, but nevertheless it's a quite interesting way to spend half an hour so I'm still suggesting you to follow it if you like comedy series with a bit of drama here and there. :P
