Hello everyone,
let's start again with covering a new series that is currently airing in Japan and got quite some attention from me due to the light hearted theme (to relax fter a day of work is wonderful) paired with nice fanservice.
I'm talking about Softenni, an anime series slated for 12 episodes based on an original manga by Ryo Aduchi.

Let's start with a synopsys :
Asuna Harukaze is a girl who loves tennis to the point where she practices her swings with a pitchfork while working on the family farm. At school she is a member of the Soft Tennis Club along with the enthusiastic Kotone, food-crazy Chitose and bizarre yet talented Kurusu. With a big tournament approaching, the girls are taking practice more seriously than ever. Although with Asuna’s strange and perverted logic surfacing at every turn and Chitose’s inability to win a single match, it may prove to be a challenge for the team to win.
Oh, this series looks and IS a very light hearted comedy series revolving around these 5 girls and the soft tennis club. (no Kyubey here, unfortunately)

The story from the first couple of episode assume a slice-of-life approach somehow reminiscent of Azumanga Daioh coupled with a massive quantity of fanservice in every color and form. (especially when Asuna is involved with her dirty mind)
The single mini-stories inside each episode aren't the most original, but you'll crack a laugh or two at them. (loved the milk scene at the first episode)

The characters are well defined into their stereotypical personality even thought somehow I need still some focus to remember their name (it'll probably vanish soon...this effect).
My favourite character at the moment is the energetic, dirty mind and cute Asuna Harukaze. She is basically the life of the series!

The graphic quality isn't the best out there, but the design is cute enough to give you another reason of watching. The animation till this point looks decent.
The sound quality of this series is very good and I'm loving especially Kanae Itou's role as Asuna Harukaze and Sayuri Yahagi's role as Elizabeth Warren.

Concluding, this is yet another series I'm keeping an eye at this season and is suggested to anyone searching for a no-brainer comedy series with beautiful girls in it.
See you soon,
