Hello everyone,
Here we are for the final impressions/review about this series named Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka that we talked a lot about in this blog and that is imho one of the best series production wise of the last season...
Why the title then you ask?

Well because from halfway on, the series started to make no sense at all with various random appearence, chainsaw multi-killing, giant pudding, etc...
...but just to let you know, Kyouko consecutive chain-saw killing did not happen at all in the manga, Dai Sensei and Ayumu almost started to fight and many other changes over the storyline, but I have to give a look at the novel to understand which is following the original text.

To be honest, while the series was random in its content (and sometimes a little creepy) the quality of both graphics, animation and pure fun you get from watching it was outstanding.
This is one of the few series that really maked me emotionally attached to the characters, even thought I really preferred both graphical style and plot from the manga over the anime one. (still waiting for the third volume of the manga)

The characters are the core of this series, I liked all the main cast with their particular antics and that chemistry between characters that you rarely get in a series nowadays.
My favourite character remain Haruna in the end (even if Mael Strom is a nice second thanks to her wife talking), especially the manga one that is even cuter than the anime graphically and personality speaking.

What about the plot strings left hanging around at the end of the series? Well, I seriously hope the manga will take all those strings and conclude nicely the story with more detail and focus than the anime. (even if I do hope for a second anime season in the future)
Or maybe I'll end up buying the original light novel that is a lot far in the content from what I heard.

Concluding, I suggest this series to anyone looking for a nice comedy/battle story with an inconclusive ending, but with great focus on the character interaction and feelings.
If you can buy the manga too, because it's a little gem in the sector.
See you soon,
